Daily Manna – Perseverance 313

Daily Manna – Perseverance 313

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may the world come to the revelation of Christ as God’s provision for the redemption of mankind.

Note: Isaiah 62:1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

God is the author and beginning of our faith. Since the LORD is the author of the transformation in our lives, He is also the author of the new name which He shall give to us, symbolising our victory over sin, death and Satan. We have victory over death because Jesus Christ is the only person who ever conquered the grave after His death on the cross. Everyone that shall confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in his heart that God had raised Him from the dead shall be saved (Romans 10:9).

Adam and Eve failed in the garden of Eden, which was a paradise that God created for man on earth. It was a place of pleasure and peace. In Eden, man was not confronted with war, desolation, famine, or the experience of being forsaken. The eviction of man from Eden after the fall meant that it was a continuous struggle for survival based on his strength, wits and ability to learn what worked for the continuity of the human race. Education became one of the tools for survival and development.

Man began to turn against fellow man resulting in wars, murders, unexplained evil, wickedness and the desire to attain control over land territories at the expense of fellow man. The failure of the human enterprise resulted in desolation of lands, premature deaths, avaricious greed with the aim to be the only one in control, hatred for one another and continuous enmity against God. The result of the human enterprise had been continuous chaos on the earth, with man neck deep in corruption and failure, looking for redemption.

Food for thought: The whole creation is groaning and travailing in pain, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Declaration: And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:23
