Topic: The Tabernacle of God 158

Scripture: But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say not of this building. (Heb 9:11)

Note: 1John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” Fellowship with one another is unavoidable for every believer. We’re all united in the body of Christ by the same denominator. We’re blood bought, blood sanctified and blood redeemed. We’re all Spirit-filled, Spirit-led and Spirit-controlled by the Spirit of God.

Fellowship with one another is mandatory to our spiritual growth, nourishment and in helping to support one another from falling away as we await the second coming of the Lord in earnest expectation of our calling in Christ Jesus. It’s practically near impossible to imagine that a believer, who isn’t constrained by geographical barriers, political, religious and other unavoidable satanic motivated antichristian inhibitions, could expect to survive alone without fellowship, when there are other blood bought believers, living and fellowshipping within the same community.

God is able to provide the believer with the requisite grace, boldness and endurance to survive through such hostile environment when the need arises. However, having believers already fellowshipping within the same community, should be considered as God’s gracious provision for the benefit and sustenance of the believer. God is able to protect His own when we commit our lives into His hands, trusting Him to enable us live victoriously.

In situations where no believers can be identified, one of the first priorities of the believer is to begin to pray towards starting a new fellowship. This should begin with prayer, as the believer waits upon the Lord. It’s then followed by active preaching of the gospel of Christ. The gospel of the Kingdom of God is good news to mankind. No one should be afraid to preach about Jesus Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation.

Food for thought: In every community around the world where we find a church or a place of fellowship, someone dared to start a fellowship at a time in history. You can also be a history maker used by God..

Declaration: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom 1:16
