Topic: The Tabernacle of God 178
Scripture: But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say not of this building. (Heb 9:11)
Note: John 12:24, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” The beginning of disintegration of a seed planted in a favourable soil, is the beginning of greater things to come. What seems to the eyes and understanding of men about the death of the seed, is actually the beginning of fruitfulness, multiplication, relevance and significance.
The seemingly terminal end of the seed planted in the soil, is rather the beginning of a new generation of hope to a new breed of seeds, whose foundation is a seed that was sentenced to die a miserable death in the soil. Yet, the farmer, whose choice it was in making that important decision to invest that seed by planting it in the soil, had faith in the seed that it would come back to life again.
Death is the most fearful thing to man. The mere thought of death is enough to inject panic, fear, terror and horror to man. Death brings pain, sorrow and separation to loved ones. Any man who loves to see people die is demonic, or sick in the mind with a psychological problem. People who use terror to kill others in the name of religion or God are actually doing the bidding of the devil.
Death is Satan’s core mission on earth. Satan is a thief whose main purpose is to kill, steal or destroy (John 10:10). He’s the originator of death in the deception of Eve. Adam wasn’t deceived. He chose to die knowing that it was rebellion against God. The keys of hell and death were taken from Satan when Jesus died and rose again from the dead. Satan tried to use the weapon of death to abort the plan of God for man through the spiritual death of Adam, which is separation from God. Instead, God used the same medium of death through the second Adam, who is Jesus Christ, to dismantle death by His resurrection from the dead.
Food for thought: The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 1Cor15:26
Declaration: For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 1Cor 15:21
